Prinsengracht (Pr-1)
Dear Kathryn,
Reed and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Prinsengracht, 604.
The apartment was a perfect choice for us!
The location is superb - just far enough off the beaten track to provide a peaceful retreat, and yet within an easy, interesting walk to just about everything. The comfort of the apartment itself made it difficult to drag ourselves out to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer! We will savor the memory of evening cocktails on the upstairs balcony and lazy time spent enjoying the canal views from the living room. The procession of pleasure boats must be seen to be believed.

This was our sixth European rental and, while each of our previous experiences was uniquely successful, Pied a Terre Properties definitely provided the highest level of service. Your accessibility (both before and during our stay), scrupulous attention to detail and, most importantly, warm and charming personality all contributed to relaxing and memorable vacation.

This was our first visit to Amsterdam, but I feel it will not be our last. Although I am certain that we would be more than content in any of your properties in the city, we will want to book #604 - I simply can't imagine staying anywhere else!

"This was our first experience renting an apartment in Europe, and it was a fantastic experience.  We were able to relax and get into ‘vacation mode’ immediately, as we felt completely at home.  The property is immaculate and well-equipped, including the kitchen and laundry facilities.  The location is perfection – we were able to walk everywhere and didn’t get lost once!  Kathryn gave us great recommendations for ‘locals only’ restaurants and off-the-beaten-path shops.
Tip for high-tech visitors: The internet connection was flawless. We also purchased an inexpensive cable at an electronics store, and were able to plug our I-Pod into the stereo system in seconds.  One dance in the living room overlooking the canal, and romance quickly followed!"

Annette, Jayne, Sally and I had a wonderful time and found our stay so peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. We managed to pack lots of things into our stay and were very impressed with Amsterdam, especially the people, everyone was so friendly.
We visited one of your recommended restaurants, Noa, and really enjoyed our evening there, also, on Sunday night we went to Brasserie "De Kelderhof" Prinsengracht 494 which we found excellent, the food and the service were both impeccable, we thought you might like to add this to your list!
