There is a tram stop one block from the apartment and shopping is just down the street, as are a variety of great restaurants, cafes and the best food market in the city is at the end of the block. There's parking in the garage at the Stopera, 5 minutes' away.

Layout and Amenities see floor plan This large (approx. 145 m2) 2 bedroom penthouse apartment (sorry, no lift, but very easy stairs) is on the 3rd floor (top) of the building and has a large balcony that runs the whole width of the apartment as well as a large rood terrace! The apartment gets lots of light, with windows on the front and back and nothing to obstruct them. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout the apartment. The layout: - The sunken living room which overlooks the Herengracht, is furnished with a couch and chairs, a television with cable, a DVD player and a stereo/ CD player. There is a sofabed on one side of the very large room and a wall that slides closed to create a 2nd bedroom. - There's a working fireplace in the living room. - The large dining room adjacent to the open kitchen has a glass table with 6 leather dining chairs. - The kitchen is fully supplied with dishes and utensils. There is a refrigerator/freezer, full-sized oven with electric stove top, as well as a dishwasher and all other necessary supplies. - There is a bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, double sinks and a toilet. Towels and a hairdryer are provided. - There's a 2nd separate guest toilet. - The master bedroom is at the back, with double doors that lead to the back balcony. - The spiral staircase in the dining area leads to a roof terrace, with lounge furniture - There is a high-speed wireless internet (ADSL) connection and a separate fixed phone line available. - There's a washer and dryer. - This is a non-smoking apartment (although smoking on the terrace/balcony is allowed.
